The Hale Pack
Alpha
Derek Hale
Cora Hale
Cora is the youngest of the Hale siblings. At one point, she was close to both her sister, Laura, and her brother, Derek. She was always the quiet one, and she never did have a lot of friends. Preferring to read or draw over playing on the playground with the other children.
When Kate put the Hale house on fire, Cora was playing in the forest right behind the house. Hearing the screams, she went back to the house, seeing Kate outside. Kate never saw her, and a young Cora wolfed out and ran out into the forest. Never before had she been this scared or helpless. When she was too tired to carry on, she collapsed. Cora was found by another werewolf, Ducalion. Having seen Ducalion with her parents before, she trusted him enough to tell him the truth about what she had seen.
Ducalion, waning revenge on Gerard for blinding him, kept Cora with him, planning to use her information about Kate against him. However, his plan backfired when the Argent family left Beacon Hills, and he couldn't track them down. Swearing that he would one day get back at Gerard, he kept Cora with him when he left town himself. Cora, believed to have been in the Hale house during the fire, was declared dead, even though they never found any evidence that she was there.
Being kept prisoner, Cora changed. She didn't have any books, and turned to what she had left. Working out was one of the few things she could do.
Knowing that they are going back to Beacon Hills has given Cora mixed feelings. She doesn't even know if Derek and Laura, who had been out when the fire started, are still there. Not to mention, she won't be able to just run away either. It's not that easy when you have a bunch of Alpha werewolfs as your guards.

Isaac Lahey
Isaac's life has always been rough. Isaac was always his mommy's little boy. When he was six, his mother was killed in a car accident. His relationship with his older brother had been strained until then, but now the older boy came through for his younger brother. However, when his brother was old enough, he went into the military and left Isaac with only his father.
Isaac did his best to meet his father's expectations, but his father did always prefers his solder brother, Camden. Isaac was about 11 years old when Camden left, and a year later he died in combat. After this, Isaac's father started abusing him. Why couldn't Isaac have died instead of his golden boy. His father did everything from lock him in the freezer in the basement to beating him.
When he was little, Isaac was friends with Matt Daehler. At one point, when they were 9 years old, Matt stopped coming around to his house and stopped talking to him. This hurt Isaac a lot, and he has pretty much been a loner since then. But it made it easy to hide the fact that his father was abusing him, when there were no one around to ask questions.
Isaac was the one that had asked Derek for the bite. He wanted to feel powerful, wanting to be able to fight back with his father. He was the first to join Derek's pack. Not long after, his father was killed by the Kanima. Isaac went to live with Derek, not being able to stay by himself in the house that was left to him by his father, the memories were too bad.
In the start, he didn't like Scott at all. Scott was just a person that was out to stop him from becoming a werewolf, from becoming powerful. He soon realized that it wasn't the case at all, and that Scott in fact tried to look out for him. It had been too long since anyone had really cared to do that for Isaac. The two of them are becoming good friends.
Slowly, Isaac is trying to open up to others. Other than Scott, he's starting to warm up to Stiles and Erica. Boyd is a bit of a mystery to him, but he's trying to get there .Or at least he was, before Erica and Boyd ran away. Isaac stayed with Derek. The guy is a mystery to him too, but he treats Isaac a lot better than his father ever did.

Scott McCall
Scott was an average teenager when Alpha werewolf Peter Hale bit him.
Prior to becoming a werewolf, Scott lacked athletic skill and required a rescue inhaler to treat his asthma. The transformation into a werewolf turned him into a superb athlete and also seems to have cured his asthma.
Scott attends Beacon Hills High School in Beacon Hills, California, where he is captain of the lacrosse team and runs cross country.
His parents are divorced.
Scott lives with his mother Melissa McCall a nurse at the Beacon Hills Hospital.
Scott has an after school job at the Beacon Hills Animal Clinic as an assistant to his mentor Dr. Deaton.
Originally, Scott sees his new life as a werewolf as more of a curse than a gift. Later, he embraces his new abilities as a means to help people.
Scott now struggles to protect the people he loves and handle an endless stream of supernatural threats. He is aided by his best friend Stiles Stilinski, former girlfriend Allison Argent, friend Lydia Martin, fellow werewolves Derek Hale and Isaac Lahey.

Vernon Boyd
As a kid, Boyd didn't really have trouble making friends. Sure, he had been a bit chubby and would get teased a bit, but he had his own group of friends, and was for the most part liked. He also had a little sister, named Alicia. She was a pain in the ass, and his best friend all at once. She loved skating, always wanting to go to the ice rink. Boyd was often roped into going with her, when their parents were busy or just didn't want to go sit in a freezing cold ice rink day after day. Boyd wasn't all that into skating himself, but Alicia was good. He liked watching her sometimes, but most of the time he just got bored. Like he did the day she vanished. He had been watching her, but then he got distracted by the vending machine, wanting a chocolate bar, but the machine wasn't cooperating. By the time he finally got the machine to give in, someone had taken her. Or she had run off. No one really knew. He had searched the whole place, alerted those who worked there. The police had been called in, eventually even the FBI showed up, and amber alerts had been sent out. But she was gone without a trace.
Boyd never recovered. He blamed himself, and so did his parents even if they never said it out loud. Even the police seemed to blame him, he could tell. His family never recovered. Once the police gave up on the case, his dad tried to continue it. All their money, the little of it they had, had gone to private investigators, both the decent and the seedy kind. His father travelled the country to put up posters everywhere there had been possible sightings of a girl matching her description. Eventually he just hadn't come home. His mother had gone off the deep end at first, shutting herself in. Until the house suddenly became the worst place for her to be, and she took on a job outside of town once his father left them for good. Now she was rarely home anymore, always working overtime because they needed the money and she needed to not be around him, and Boyd was mostly left to his own devices. The once so idyllic and loving family Boyd had been raised by, was gone.
None of his friends seemed able to handle it. People would whisper about him wherever he went, and his friends stopped coming around after a few too many rejections. Boyd closed himself off for a while, like his mother he just tried to get by day after day. His newfound reclusive ways attracted a few bullies, but then puberty kicked in and Boyd hit the gym and they got too scared of him to try anything. So he was left alone, day after day. He got a job at the ice rink, the very place he had lost her. It made him feel closer to her to be there, sometimes it was like he could see her out there on the ice.
But Boyd was lonely. Sometimes he craved the solitude, but most of all he craved belonging to something. Family was gone. Even when he and his mother were together, it was like they were apart. His father barely called anymore, and even when he did their calls consisted of long silences that got filled with awkward pleasantries. Boyd never went to see him in his new place, and his dad never came to visit anymore. Then Derek had showed up in his life. Boyd was already strong for a human, that wasn't the draw for him. It was the talk of building a pack, the hint of loneliness he recognised in Derek's eyes when he talked about how a pack would stick together, protect each other. That's what he wanted. Even if Scott had been quicker to try and convince him otherwise, it would never have stopped Boyd. Scott already had everything Boyd wanted, it was easy for him to say it didn't have to be this way. It did for Boyd, taking the bite was the only way he had to belong to something. Of course it helped having the supernatural strength and agility, and Boyd loved the feeling of power that came with it.
But it was the pack that mattered, the feeling of belonging. At least, it had for a while. While he would always feel a sense of loyalty to Derek and Isaac, even beyond the normal pack bond, Boyd couldn't help but care for Erica more than them. He could see beyond the tougness and bravado her new werewolf status had given her, and he remembered the girl she had been before the bite. Maybe she reminded him of Alicia in some way, but he knew he felt protective of her, and Derek wasn't going to be enough to keep them safe with the Argents and the kanima running around Beacon Hills. While he respected Derek and wanted to belong, Boyd had never been much of a follower, not of the blindly loyal ones at least, and Derek wasn't listening to them. They had asked Isaac to come, but he decided to stay. Boyd's decision to leave had been mainly to keep Erica safe and because he was scared himself, but it had all gone wrong. Already before they even neared the end of the woods, he realised it was a mistake. They didn't stand a chance against the alpha pack. Boyd had lost track of time in the bank vault by now, all he knew was that he couldn't turn and he had this awful feeling that everything was going to get worse. And he didn't know if he could rely on Derek's help, not when they had run away.
